Frequently asked questions

Services

  • We take care of three areas: branding, web design and digital marketing. That ranges from the logo to the website to the question of how your customers find you on Google. You can book individual services or get everything from a single source, and then everything fits together in the end.

  • A website shows content: who you are, what you offer and how to reach you. A web app gets tasks done, for example booking appointments, calculating prices or managing orders. It runs in the browser, so there's nothing to install. The line is blurry, and often you need both. In the initial call we work out together what makes sense for you.

  • Yes. First we ask: what do you stand for, who do you want to stand out to, what should stick with your customers? From the answers we build logo, colours and type into a system you can use yourself, from quotes to Instagram posts.

  • The basics are part of every project: a clean structure, fitting page titles and descriptions, so Google understands your site. If you want more, we look at what your customers are really searching for and work specifically on your visibility.

Costs

  • That depends on the scope: how many pages, how much text and imagery you provide, whether it needs connections to other systems. Beforehand we tell you openly what you really need and what you can skip. After the initial call you get a concrete quote with a clear scope. So you know in advance what will be on the final invoice.

  • No. The initial call is free, with no obligation and no sales pressure. We listen, ask questions and then give you an honest estimate of cost and timeline. Even if that estimate is that you need something else entirely right now.

  • No. Changes are planned for from the start. Feel free to say when you don't like something: we keep adjusting the design until you're completely happy.

  • No. The quote states the agreed scope, and we stick to it. We tell you about running costs such as hosting in advance, so nothing surprises you after launch.

Process

  • On average we go live after about three weeks. How close a project gets to that number depends mostly on how well we communicate: if content and feedback come quickly, things move fast; if questions stay open for a long time, it drags on. So you never have to guess where your project stands, we reach out on our own. We give you a reliable date right in the initial call.

  • Three steps. First an initial call via Zoom or phone, usually half an hour. Then we design and develop, and you see progress regularly. Finally we check speed, display and visibility, go live and show you how to update content yourself.

  • Nothing finished. It helps if you roughly know what the site should achieve and who it's for. We work out everything else together. If you already know sites you like, feel free to bring them along.

  • The people who will actually build your project. With us there are no transfers, no hold music and no middle management. Whether you'd rather talk on the phone every week or send a quick chat message in the evening is entirely up to you.

  • No. We're based in Wuppertal and work across the EU. We hold our calls via Zoom or phone, and if you're nearby, you're welcome to drop by for a coffee.

Technology

  • No. Every site is made for exactly one business, hand-written rather than clicked together. That means fast load times and clean code, and the site will still run reliably in a few years.

  • Yes, that's a given for us. Your site looks good on phone, tablet and desktop and is easy to use everywhere. Before launch we check the display on every device.

  • Tools that are fast, secure and in demand. That keeps your site easy to maintain, and you'll always find developers who know their way around it. If you like, we choose the technology together, to suit your project and your budget. You don't need to understand any code for that.

  • Yes. We start with what you need now and add new features as soon as they make sense: a blog, appointment booking or a dedicated area for your customers, for example.

Support

  • Yes. Together we discuss what the site needs to do, and then build you your own admin or CMS area, tailored to exactly those requirements. Through it you can change everything you want to change: text, images, prices, new articles. We take our time for the handover, show you everything calmly, and you get all logins. We're happy to take on bigger rebuilds, but you don't depend on us.

  • Yes, if you'd like. We handle the monthly operation of your website and put together a contract tailored to your project. Nobody pays for services they don't need. Basic hosting comes with a small monthly fee; how much depends on the project and its scope. We tell you in advance what that means for you.

  • We don't disappear after the invoice. You can keep sending us updates, small changes and questions about maintenance, as an ongoing support plan if you like. And you're never a bother to us, not even for a quick question in between.

  • No. At handover you get all logins, and the technology is chosen so that other developers can find their way around too. We're happy if you stay. But because the collaboration works, not because you have to.
